KANSAS CITY RESOLUTION NO. 921053 

On the death of Steven B. Cheaqui. 

WHEREAS, Steven B. Cheaqui tragically
died on September 3, 1992, during the
performance of his duties as an
Engineering Aide III in the Water and
Pollution Control Department; and 

WHEREAS, Mr. Cheaqui, who possessed an
easy-going nature and infinitely
likeable personality, had loyally served
this City for more than seven years; and

WHEREAS, Mr. Cheaqui is survived by his
wife, Donna, and his two children, Billy
and Amy; and 

WHEREAS, Mr. Cheaqui will be sorely
missed by his family, his co-workers,
and by all who knew him;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
COUNCIL OF KANSAS CITY: 

That the Mayor and Council express their
deep sorrow on the death of this fine
man; and 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this
Resolution be spread upon the Minutes of
the Council in testimony hereof and a
copy presented to his wife, Donna, in
token of his seven years of loyal
service to the City of Kansas City and
the sadness felt by the Council on his
untimely death.
